On February 28, 2020, Clark Hudson successfully defended an OB/GYN in a jury trial accused of leaving a foreign body following tubal ligation surgery. The patient claimed both fraud and malpractice in her Complaint. The action was filed more than three years after the subject surgery, with the patient claiming the defendant physician never disclosed to her that he was unsuccessful in his attempts to deploy an Essure Tubal ligation device. After a two-week trial, the jury returned a defense verdict on causes of action.
